NC Pulled Pork
This recipe could be adapted for the grill or smoker, but I am going to do it in the crock pot.
Ingredients:
1 Boston butt pork roast, trimmed, if desired ($.98/lb.)
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup apple juice
salt and pepper to taste
(we like a little crushed red pepper too.)
Directions:
Place the Boston Butt in the crock pot. Mix other ingredients together thoroughly and pour over the roast. Cook on low temperature for several hours, or until the meat falls off the bone.
Serve with your favorite BBQ Sauce and a bun. (We like ours with dill pickles and coleslaw.)
