A Guide to Shopping at Ingles
THIS INFORMATION WAS TRUE as of July 7, 2010 for some South Carolina stores. I do not have an Ingles store nearby, so I cannot keep an updating shopping guide at this time. Check with your store’s coupon policy for all the updated information.
When shopping at Ingles the first thing you need to do is register to for a Ingles store card if you do not have one. You can do this in the store and it only takes a few minutes. You will need their store card to get their sales prices each week, and for your coupons to double.
Once you have your card, register it online to receive extra coupons that can be used in the store.
Ingles accepts manufacturer’s coupons, Catalina coupons, Internet printables, blinkie coupons, and competitor coupons. They will double coupons up to $0.50 each day; however they will only double 3 coupons (up to $0.50) for every $10 spent before coupons, 6/$20, 9/$30 etc. Ingles will not except no more than two (2) identical items eligible for double coupon savings. Ingles will NOT take “FREE” Internet coupons, only cents off coupons. They will only accept 2 Internet coupons per manufacturer product per visit per day.
When using a competitor coupon, that store must be within a five (5) mile radius of Ingles.
.
When Ingles has a Buy One Get One Free sale you do not have to buy 2 of the B1G1 items to get the sale price, and when buying B1G1 free items you can use two coupons if you have them.

Can I use two of the exact same coupon for one item (or whatever the coupon states)? For example, if a coupon is .50 off yoplait yogurt… Can I use 2 of the same coupon for this one purchase? Also, if a coupon is .75 off 2 boxes of cereal… Can I use two of the same coupon for two boxes or do I have to get 4 boxes of cereal?
Hi Rebecca. You can use one manufacturer coupon per item. So if it’s a $.50/1 coupon, you can only use one per item that you buy. In the case of the $.75/2, it is $.75 off of 2 boxes, so in order to use 2 coupons you’ll have to buy 4 boxes of cereal. Does that make sense?
Not true either.. you can use two manufacturer coupons…No more than two per item…as long as no money is owed back to the customer.
Melissa, You may never use two manufacturer’s coupons per item. It is against the fine print on the coupons.
“When using a competitor coupon, that store must be within a five (5) mile radius of Ingles.”
That is not true. Ingles DOES NOT accept competitor coupons.
They did at one time, before extreme couponing began, or at least the store’s where Rebecca shops did. However, this has not been updated recently, as I am no longer doing Ingles deals. You can visit http://www.swappinspoons.com to find current Ingles deals and information.
Thanks!
