Great list. I am forever telling people we can all give without starving ourselves. This is the time of year when everyone should clean out their closets and drawers. I do it constantly.

I didn't know you could donate coupons for our military families. When I'm done here, I'll hop over and read all about that. The Military is one of my on going charities. I knit and crochet alot.

Teach others, boy does that hit home. I learned to knit years ago when young from Mom, who's gone now. I learned to crochet from my friends aunt...again long ago and she too is gone. I've taught both to many people through the years and it gives me as much as I'm giving. Brings back such nice memories.

I knit and crochet for homeless, and collect from others for the same cause (Bridge and Beyond). One of things I suggest to all is collect the soap, shampoo etc from hotels when you travel and donate to a homeless or battered womans shelter. They're always in need.

I love to give to the "Stamp Out Hunger" cause. It happens in Spring and that's when I clear out my pantry. It doesn't cost a dime and the mail carrier picks it all up at my mailbox!

Easy, convenient and no out of pocket cost!

I don't know about volunteering at a public school... my former district was super tight about allowing anyone in without: fingerprints, photocopies of license, child offender checks, TB test, etc. I hate to say it (being a teacher myself), but we look at people who want to volunteer their time as "fishy" individuals. Perhaps a private school, church, or library would be better?

I did it today. I went to the newton store and the tag was up.
I only did 2 and they were the regular bonus pack. The tag was only on the regular. I have heard people tried the deodorant and other ones and they didn't work.
I used a b1g1f and a $1 stayfree printable and the coupons didn't beep and it was just 2.69 plus tax and I got back 4 ecb. It says I still can do some more.

I just get some small red potatoes and put in the bottom of a crockpot, then I put the corned beef brisket on top and cover completely with water. Cook for 8 hrs. on low. Add wedges of cabbage (if you like) for the last hour or two. My mother-in-law has a recipe where she takes the brisket out of the crockpot, adds a glaze, and bakes it. I emailed her for the recipe, as I thought I might try it this year.

I didn't see this on here but I have heard of a monthly deal for stayfree. You are suppose to get 2 ecb's if you buy 1 and I believe the limit might be 5 so if you use the stayfree b1g1f coupon from the 1/3 insert that expires 3/31 you buy 2 and pay under $4 and get back 4 ecb's. Have you tried this yet?
