Success At the Stores

I really, really am trying to buy healthier foods.  You can ignore the chips for me and oreos for hubby right? ;)

I spent right at $40 and saved $46.  I am definitely stocked up on nuts for a couple of months!  (Chips too.)

Did you find any great deals at Harris Teeter this week?

OOPS!!  I made a mistake.  These are one of the HICKORY NC only specials.  It is good through the week for Hickory NC only!!

I spent less than $10 and saved over $10 on my order today without coupons!

The pork chops are on sale for $1.99 pound for Lowes Foods eOffers members.  That sale ends TODAY (2/5).  I am going to cook 4 today and freeze the others in 2 bags.  Three meals of meat for around $5.00?  Sounds great to me!!

Sorry for the upside down tomato paste!

I spend just over $16 at Harris Teeter, and I saved $35.  I bought 2 Deer Park 24 pk of water that are missing from the photo. I had one $1/2 peelie left from a case I had bought last month.

Two deals I found:

Florida’s Natural Grapefruit Juice $2.57
$.55/1 Florida’s Natural Ruby Red printable
$1.47 after coupon

Select Margaret Holmes Veggies (I bought turnip greens.) $.99
$0.75/2 Margaret Holmes Southern-Style Vegetables, exp. 4/15/12 (ALL YOU Dec ’11)
$.24 each after coupon

If you want to know all the other matchups, check out my Harris Teeter printable list for the week!

CVS Thanksgiving Shopping

November 25, 2011

Can I just say that my mom and I have shopped at CVS on Thanksgiving for at least 4 or 5 years.  One year, there was only two people in the store.  Even last year, there were only 5 or 6 other shoppers.

This year….when we pulled up at 5 minutes after opening….the parking lot was full.  Those two poor CVS clerks.

However, mom and I did manage to get most of what we wanted!

I spent less than $3 on what is pictured above, and I have more ECB than I started with!

YAY!

How did you do at the drug stores?

I picked up some needed items at Harris Teeter today!  (Oh and some blueberry bagels for breakfast tomorrow!)

I spent $17.68, but that included 2 cases of Deer Park water too.  The water was a Saturday special, and it had a $1/2 peelie coupon on it!

I saved over $28.  My mama will sure be happy to get 2 jars of mayo for the price of 1!  I am excited about the cake mixes for $.25 each, because I used my last one recently!

Want to know how I saved?  Check out this week’s Harris Teeter Coupon Matchups!!

I had $5 in expiring +Up Rewards, so I took advantage of getting some last minute Halloween candy at Rite Aid.  I hear we can expect 200+ trick or treaters this year.  I will have to let you know how many we end up with!

I had 3 Cover Girl coupons left, so I decided to pick up some items for my make-up stash and mama at CVS.  I spent $6.20 after coupons, $8 ECB, and tax.  I qualified for the $10 gift card back.  Not too bad.  (Plus we can always use TP right?)
