Saturday Success Stories

I had a couple of great trips this week to Lowes Foods and Harris Teeter! I also snagged some free Allegra at CVS (I just didn’t take a picture)!

And I came in under budget to boot!

Isn’t this NC spring weather beautiful?

If you have been a Coupon Teacher reader for long, you will know about hubby’s shed project.  (AKA the mini-house in my backyard.)

Hubby and a close friend built this shed from scratch.  And hubby put the finishing touches on it last weekend.  (Notice the neighbor decided he needed one too.)

The best part?  I just paid off the Lowes bill that included all the materials for the shed!!

I simply love being able to help save you money!

Reader Vicky says, “My total was $83.59 but I spent just under $26!”

Now that is a great triple coupon trip!

How about you?  Do you have any success stories this week?

On Thursday night, hubby and I had some great adventures in shopping.

Plus, he had a special surprise in store for me.  He knew I have been super excited for the Hunger Games movie to come out.  So, he looked up where it was filmed and we went to check it out. This old mill town was used for District 12.

Don’t I have a super sweet hubby?

Did you have any success stories or adventures this week?

I spend $54 dollars at Harris Teeter this morning.  That sounds like a lot. (But I don’t care!)  I got some organic produce for the week, cat litter to last until the next sale, a pork roast, and some decent priced toilet paper.

I saved over $67 on this trip, and of course, I used a Harris Teeter Recyclebank coupon!

We are definitely stocked for a while.  Now I just need cat food!!

I had a quick and fun trip to Aldi this week!  I spent right at $20 for all kinds of produce!

We had a super busy week this week, and it seemed like I blinked and it was over.

I would love for you to share your successes from the week!

So, this doesn’t qualify as my BEST Deal Ever, but I was excited.

The other day we were in the local vitamin store and hubby saw these krill oil supplements.  They were $34.99 PER bottle.

I begged him to wait, because I thought I could get them cheaper.  (We haven’t ever purchased them before, so I wasn’t 100% sure.)

Well….

I paid around $28 for 2 bottles this week, thanks to a Walgreens BOGO sale and coupons!  Now hubby and I both have a bottle to try, and I have a little extra money in my pocket.
