I got my Zaycon Foods beef this week. Less than $2.99/lb. after my credits for 93/7 beef, which I think is excellent! Now to divide and freeze it today!

This picture is from last year, but you get the point! I worked in my classroom some this week, and I have to thank the friendly helping hands that worked with me!
I start back to school Monday! This school year is going to bring all kinds of new challenges, and after a great summer, I feel ready to meet them!

While I am not driving an hour to Harris Teeter this week, I want you to check out all the reader savings at Harris Teeter Super Doubles!
They are truly a success!

I scored some great deals at Target Toy Clearance and Lowes Foods Super Doubles this week!
I had a lot to do this week, but my energy was lacking! I did get another good report from the doctor on Friday, so that is a success. My gluten-free diet and low stress summer must be helping. :)
The mission team with my friend is in Guyana, and I have heard great reports so far.
I met a new teacher at our grade level, and we all had a LONG but productive planning session last night.
What successes did you experience this week?

My mother-in-law’s birthday was yesterday, and we were talking…
Why does February seem like the longest month ever, and yet the summer flies by?
I had a very successful week!
And I am sure there is a lot I am leaving out!

Hubby and his favorite cookies taught me a lesson this week.
I spent $3.99. Yes, $3.99 on Oreos this week.
Here is how it went…
Me: Going to the store, is there anything you want?
Hubby: Cookies.
Me: Chips Ahoy are BOGO this week, so I will get you two packs.
Hubby: Those sound good, but I really want some Oreos too.
Me: Oreos are expensive and not on sale, we will see.
Hubby: Please.
Me: Maybe.
Hubby: I will transfer you $3 from my lunch money if you will get them for me.
Me: Speechless. Guilty. Convicted. Ugly. Sorry.
This week I was reminded that doing little things for the people we love is more important than saving $2. Perhaps I won’t buy Oreos every time. And sometimes Oreos will be on sale.
But now and then, hubby is going to get $3.99 Oreos. Because he is important. He is loved. And buying full priced Oreos is one way I can show it.
My lesson learned is my success story for the week.
