Just got back from HT. Got a lot of stuff that I really needed. It wasn’t totally free. I will make those trips once I am done with the items that I need and that the coupons don’t usually double for being more than 99 cents.
The end result was about 75 dollars worth of groceries for 19. Good deal.

What an amazing trip! $110 for $7 and $2.50 was solely tax! Thanks so much for the list! Heads up for everyone I made $2.50 for buying the always infinity and tampax pearl, here’s how
Always Infinity- $4.99
- $2 manufacturer (doubles)
-$2 evic
=1.01 moneymaker!
same with tampax pearl but you make about only 50 cents

Hi, does anyone know if it is possible to do the double coupon thing at self checkout? I know you can scan coupons just fine on a normal day, but will it let you double the coupons?

Reply

Alison August 8, 2012 at 9:06 pm

The computer doubles everything at self check out too but my self check out doesn’t scan the new barcode ones so I don’t go there when I have those coupons. Every store is different.

I make a habit of purchasing most anything under $1 and giving what I don’t want or use to the food bank. Over $250 in groceries for less than $65 including some things without coupons and a good haul to the food bank. Thanks coupon teacher!!

I spent $129.00 for $379.00 worth of groceries which included produce and fresh meats! I’ve also turned about 10 people to your website for helpful hints on couponing.
