Menu Plan Monday

After a fabulous weekend eating gluten free treats in California (think flour less cake, rice pasta, and gluten-free pretzels), I am going to try to cut some of the sugar and processed foods out again for me.  (Meanwhile, not depriving hubby.)

Monday-Cajun Chicken with rice and broccoli

Tuesday-Omelets and toast for hubby

Wednesday-Dinner with Friends

Thursday-Date Night!

Friday-Chef Salads

Saturday-Sticky chicken, potato wedges, and steamed veggies

I Shelly, I have decided to change my lifestyle and become healthy. I have been doing a deteox program based on this book that I’ve been reading, “How to lose weight without Dieting’ by JJ. Smith. It’s a very good book, today is day 7 of Phase 1. And I feel great, more energey. This phase last 21 days, no meat, dairy, sugar or white bread and water. Although I did add green tea, I need little substance you know. But I have about 5lbs. I will be incorporating gluten free foods as well. If you get the chance check out the book reviews on amazon or visit her webiste, JJ Smithonline.

My menu plan thus far…
Sunday: homemade pizza with pineapple and ham (left over ham from Easter)
Monday: homemade english muffins, apple or pear pancakes, and whatever people want to go with… maybe a half and cheese sandwich on an english muffin or maybe with an egg
Tuesday: Probably ham, red beans and rice (That will be the last of the Easter ham.)
Wednesday: Probably frozen pizza
Thursday through Saturday: is undecided yet. Probably will do a pasta night one night, just because I love pasta. May do some kind of a mexican dish one night, maybe to use my mole sauce I made in the crockpot with chicken. So maybe chicken enchiladas of some sort?
