Today’s Tuesday Thing to save you money is a Kindle App and Free Kindle Books.
Before hubby got me a Kindle Fire for Christmas, I was really missing out. I kept reading about this Kindle App that you could use on your phone, computer or tablet, but I was in the dark and I didn’t try to figure it out.
Did you know that you DON’T have to have a Kindle to read Kindle books? You don’t!!
Click here to download the appropriate app for your device.
Next up, there are tons of FREE Kindle books you can download including ones for adults and kids. How do you find these books?
Well, I always check two places!
My friend Jen at Saving and Giving often posts free Kindle books.
In addition, one of our advertising partners is a perfect source for updated lists of Free Kindle Books. You can visit the Jungle Deals and Steals site through my sidebar, and see the latest Amazon deals from them on my site now too!
A few tips:
1. Always check to be sure that the book is still free before ordering. Amazon prices change very quickly, and sometimes can even change within a few minutes.
2. Order any book you think you might want to read immediately. You never know when the price will go back up.
3. Relax and enjoy your new free reading material!!
I have paid for 2 books since I received my Kindle Fire for Christmas, and one was Dave Ramsey. I have loaded more than 20 free books that look very interesting! I think I could read for free for the rest of the year, if I want!!
Have you been reading for free? What are some other sources for free reading materials?

I love my Kindle app. I’ve downloaded many free books and bought a book for my ladies Bible study for cheaper than I could have bought it in the store!
Barnes and Noble also offers the Nook and Nook Kids apps. I’ve downloaded several free books here, too.
If you use an Apple device, you can get lots and lots of free books in the iBooks app.
Love love LOVE my kindle app! Use it allllll the time. It’s a wonderful thing and so easy to make sure I have plenty of reading material at hand.
I have the Kindle app on my phone and LOVE it, when I do get a chance to read it.
