Today I am going to encourage you to do what the apostle Paul says and set aside some for the collection of the saints.
1 Corinthians 16
1 Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given orders to the churches of Galatia, so you must do also: 2 On the first day of the week let each one of you lay something aside, storing up as he may prosper, that there be no collections when I come.
The easiest way I have learned to give to church is to subtract that money from my bank account as soon as I am paid. If you don’t count your contribution to church in your income, you will be less tempted to spend it on something else. (At least that is how it works for me.)
It also helps me to remember that all good things and blessings come from God.

We do the same thing, Shelly! Our church allows us to give online, which makes that even easier.
