Erase Your Debt: Dave Ramsey Giveaway

January 24, 2012

If you have been following along with my Erase Your Debt series, you know that I have been starting to follow some of Dave Ramsey’s principles.  I haven’t perfected them yet, but I am a work in progress.

Anyway, I saw this great Dave Ramsey bundle on Mamapedia a few weeks ago.  I just had to have one.  Oh, and I bought an extra one too!  I thought about waiting until the end of my series to give this away, but then I realized something.

If I waited, that would be withholding valuable tools from whoever is chosen as the winner.

So without further ado…

Giveaway:

The Dave Ramsey Starter Bundle ($120 value)  including:

  • The Total Money Makeover book and workbook (see my review)
  • 2 DVD Lessons from Financial Peace University
  • The Money Answer Book
  • Starter Envelope System
  • Dave’s Budgeting Software

Enter:

1. Leave a comment telling me what debt you are trying to “Erase”!

2. Like Coupon Teacher on Facebook and leave me a separate comment that you did.

3. Sign up for the Coupon Teacher daily email newsletter and leave me a separate comment that you did (or that you already do).

I disclose: I used some Mamapedia credits I earned from blogging to buy one of these for you and one for me.  I love being able to give back when I can!

Need to erase huge home equity line debt – we lived on that for too long as I went through cancer treatments, and job loss with both myself and my hubby. We’re back on feet….just with alot of debt that I struggle with.

debt needing to erase: found black mold in the basement and had to hire a professional crew to clean it all out and also another professional crew to fix the source of the problem. We could not do any of this work ourselves as it is dangerous and toxic. So it killed our budget…and wiped out our home maintenance fund for the next few years. So yes, I need to pay this huge debt off! Thanks for the contest.

After 22 years, the company I worked for down sized and I was let go. 18 months later I was able to find another job, but for half my salary. The stress of trying to pay my bills is over whelming and would love to be able to pay off all of our debt.

Thanks for the great give-a-way!

My husband just lost his job on Dec 15th and I am a stay-at-home mom. So I have been following your blog through FB about erasing your debt. So, besides trying to be more frugal at the grocery store and really only buying the necessities, we are working on paying off a home equitity line of credit loan. We just used money from the HELOC note to buy a van…we were down a vehicle due to the loss of my husband’s company car. So that is where we are right now in our life!
Thanks for doing the giveaway!
