Yes, it is official. Harris Teeter even posted it on their Facebook page. They will be tripling coupons up to $.99 from May 18th-24th.
I am definitely not perfect, so please let me know if I have made any mistakes or left anything off! Only three like coupons will double or triple per transaction. My Harris Teeter will not double or triple coupons that say DO NOT DOUBLE (DND), but some stores do. I tried to mark them DND, but I am sure I missed a few.
HT policy is to double 20 coupons PER DAY PER HOUSEHOLD.
If the list looks confusing to you, go here to find common abbreviations for coupons.
I spent more than 6 hours on this list, so please don’t copy without my permission.
I just have to say Thank you!! I am new to this coupon thing (well I always used some but trying to do better) I really appreciate you taking the time to do this. It helps out so much as I have to kids under two and can’t spend much time in the store so I need all the help I can get!! Thank you, Thank you!!!
Thank thank thank you so much for this list. =) I printed out the Driscoll’s coupon for the berries but unfortunately it says NO DOUBLING IS PERMITTED. Does that mean you can’t triple it either? If so that is a bummer I was looking forward to BOGO .49 for berries!!
Thank you so much for this list! I can imagine it took at least 6 hours to assemble! I did see a few coupons that expired on 5/15/11 that you have posted. HTH. :)
Thank you so much! One question, I tried to find the Wisk printable coupon, but I couldn’t find it. Not sure if I’m using the right zip code or not. Thanks again!
But you could use your vic card at one store (and use it on the items that are vic specials) , use 20 coupons and then go to another store and use 20 more coupons but not use your vic card, right? They should still triple even if you don’t use a vic card, right?
You have to scan your VIC card to get doubled or tripled coupons. No matter how many stores you go to (if you use all 20 at one store or 10 at one and 10 at another), 20 per day is the limit. The 21st coupon will not double or triple.
ps if you have to use more than 20 coupons, make sure your $1 and over-a-$1 coupons are on the bottom, since they don’t double anyways!
Just got back from my trip to HT and here are a few notes:
o There were larger bottles of French’s Worcestershire Sauce (15 oz) which were priced $1.99, which I was able to get for free with my $0.75/1 coupons. Plus, they had the smaller bottles (10 oz) priced at 2/$2, so I was able to use a $0.50/1 printable coupon to get that free, too.
o My store had the Frank’s Red Hot Sauce at BOGO, so I was able to get two for free with one coupon.
o The Kellogg’s Fiber Plus Eggo Waffles were not included in the sale at my store. They were something like $3.69 a box.
o The Lunchables with Fruit were not at a reduced price, but then, neither were the 4.5oz Lunchables at my store.
o There were some boxes of Broccoli/Cheddar Uncle Ben’s that were on clearance for $1.19, so I was able to get them for free.
-I got the $1.99 Worcestershire Sauce which was the last one on the shelf.
-I got one of the clearance Uncle Ben Taco Rice and one regular priced one so that they were both free after two coupons because the overage from one applied to the other so I was pretty excited.
-I did a deal on Kool Aid but it didn’t work :( There was a $0.50/5 on facebook which made it free but the coupon didn’t triple. It was done at $0.87 which I can’t figure out but I think that many people said that they had problems when the coupons were for multiple items.
-PG home mailer has coupons for $0.75 off tampax, always, and oral b which make great triples
- Evic coupons make even better deals for the Wasa crackers, Colgate Wisps and others but I don’t know if everyone gets the same thing. Check out the Newton crisps B1G1 coupon matched with $1 coupons from the paper. I am going to try to see if it works out to free :)
Hi Thank you for posting all these great savings!!! I have a question if I have a cupon for 75cents and the item that Im buying its 1$ will it triple and give me money back ?….or just will go up to 25cents?
I saw that you removed the Frank’s Wing Sauce or REDHOT Chili Sauce because you had an expired coupon. Did you see the new one in this past Sunday’s SS? It’s for $0.75/1 and expired on 7-31-11. HTH! :)
Really…I am all for getting great deals, but doing it by “cheating” is not cool. That is WHY all the stuff is gone, and if people keep this up – the stores will STOP! Come on ladies (and some men) please play by the RULES, so the stores keep doing these amazing deals.
I have 2 more trips left to make at HT to keep under the 20 coupons per visit but did pretty well today- stocked up on mostly condiments and Wisk- retailed at around $52, OTD at $11. HT was out of the Mahatma Rice and Soy Sauce today. FYI- another good deal is the Glad trash bags at $2.99 for the 30ct package, there is a $.75/1 coupon (not sure where from, maybe SS), brings it down to $.74 each- can’t wait to use that one on the next trip! Ditto on the lunchables, only the basic/smaller ones were $1- no deal there. Thank you!!!
Hi there! I’m new to couponing and have a quick question. I went to HT yesterday with a fist full of coupons (most $1 value) and expected them to be tripled. When I checked out they didn’t triple any of the $1 coupons and told me that the total value after tripling couldn’t exceed $1. I was under the impression based on their coupon policy verbage that they would triple a value up to $99 (ie; if the coupon was for $1 they would triple its value to $2.98; if it’s a $0.50 coupon the end value would be $1.50). Am I misinterpreting or were they incorrect in how much they told me they would triple? I also went through the self-checkout which could have something to do with this?
I went to the Teeter on the 18th and they were out of everything! they said i could get a rain check , but even though i get the sale price they wont triple my coupon when they get the product in. I was still able to get some things, but I had to do a total plan change in the store. Im going back tomorrow, hopefully they have more in stock! does is this happen a lot?

Thank you! We soooo appreciate all the work you put into this!
Thanks so much!
The Uncle Ben’s website has a printable of the same white rice coupon listed above. (Registration required.)
This is awesome! A million thank yous!!!!!
I agree you’re amazing!!! thank you so much for this :)

It depends on your store. Mine will not triple it, but some will. I will change the list to read DND, thanks!
Thanks so much for your hard work putting this extensive list together!! I can’t wait to go shopping!!!

Thanks so much. I updated some with new links and coupons, and deleted a few.
I will blame it on teacher brain and state testing. That works right? ;)
Always. ;)
What time do triple coupons start?
7 am on the 18th.
Thank you so much! One question, I tried to find the Wisk printable coupon, but I couldn’t find it. Not sure if I’m using the right zip code or not. Thanks again!
It appears to be gone already. Sorry!
There is apparently a catalina for $2 off when you purchase the Wisk too!
Thanks for all your hard work! I am positive it will pay off tomorrow!
Does the 20 coupons at a time apply if you shop in the morning and then again in the afternoon? Do they actually track that?
Yes, they track it through your vic card. 20 coupons per day for 7 days is 140 coupons. That is a lot of savings!!
But you could use your vic card at one store (and use it on the items that are vic specials) , use 20 coupons and then go to another store and use 20 more coupons but not use your vic card, right? They should still triple even if you don’t use a vic card, right?

They don’t give overage or money back. Sorry!

I agree, just get what you need and do it honestly. They are going to ruin it for everybody!
@Katie: I must have missed something. What are you referring to as cheating?
Lyn there was a post saying that a Manager said she could get a second vic card and maybe just use a bogus address.

The limit one for wisk says 3.47 after evic is that a coupon added to thevic card or just by using your card? Thanks a bunch.
If you are signed up for the e-vic program, it should come off when you use your card!

Help me! I’m a coupon virgin! :)
Coupons with a face value of $1 do not triple. Only coupons with a face value of $.05 – $.75 triple. Does that make sense?
Yes, thank you! So, even if it’s $.75, it will still triple to $2.25 and not stop at $1.
Thanks for your help!
Anything under $.99 will triple up to but not exceed the value of the item.
$.75= $2.25
$.60=$1.80
As long as the item you are buying is more expensive than the coupon tripled, they won’t give you overage.
I went to the Teeter on the 18th and they were out of everything! they said i could get a rain check , but even though i get the sale price they wont triple my coupon when they get the product in. Stock is often a problem at triple coupon events. Try to find out when your store does restocking, and that should help!
