Harris Teeter Super Double Coupon Matchups 4/27

April 25, 2011

Harris Teeter

If you are new to couponing, start with my Savvy Shopper course. If you are new to shopping at Harris Teeter, visit my Harris Teeter Guide to learn the basics.  Remember to know their coupon policy!

If you are new to Super Doubles check out my post about preparing for a coupon event!

UPDATED with a few matchups, but make sure you let me know what you find in the field tomorrow!

I always try to remind you that my Harris Teeter will not double coupons that say Do Not Double (DND).  Some Harris Teeter stores will, so I do include those coupons in my matchups.  I do try to mark them DND, but sometimes I miss a few!

In any case, please do not copy this list without my written permission.

Let me know if you find any great deals I missed!

My Harris Teeter will only double up to $1.98, Do you know if the 20 coupon limit is still in effect even on a super double sale? If they had no limit for how many coupons i could double that would be amazing, but im pretty sure i can only use 20. Just want to make sure because im preparing my trip for Thursday morning

(I’m new to couponing just warning you lol)
For this:
Smart Balance Milk half gallon 2/$5
$1.50/1 Smart Balance Milks, any one carton – (SS 04/10/11)=
Free

Not quite understanding how it would be free because doubling 1.50 is $3. And would those just joining the VICs club be eligable for these things? My mother, sister and I all sit down and coupon together we’re going later today to do this and I wanted to get this milk so I wanted to double check before I got it.

If you buy one, it’s $2.50. Doubling the $1.50 coupon would make one free. Keep in mind, Harris Teeter will only double to the amount of the item so you won’t get the extra $0.50 from the doubled coupon.

Thanks for your hard work!! I can’t believe you did this while trying to buy a house and move.

Here are a few organic/natural food matchups; I used prices from ExpressLane (sorry if you have any of these and I missed them):
1) Printable on MamboSprouts site: Stoneyfield Farm $1/1 YoBaby 4-pack of yogurt. They’re $2.59, so $0.59 after coupon.

2) Printable on MamboSprouts site: Organic Valley half gallon milk, $1 off. Price $3.99, or $1.99 after coupon (not great, but a good price for organic milk)

3) Printable from pacificfoods.com website (must register): $1/1 soup or broth. Soup price is $2.49, or $0.49 after doubled coupon. This stuff is super yummy!

I can’t believe it either Lucy…lol. I will double check, format and add the deals. THANKS!

Thank you, Lucy! Their Roasted Red Pepper soup is gluten-free and one of my favorites! It’s regularly $2.69, so just .69/carton with this sale.

I’m trying to wrap my head around the M&M’s deal. They are on sale B2G3. And I have the B2G1. And you said to buy 6. So their B2 doesn’t conflict with the B2 on the coupon? And if not, the number 6 comes from having the G1 on my coupon. Is that right?

Reply

Coupon Teacher April 26, 2011 at 3:45 pm

I wrote it out the way my store would make me do it.

Buy 2, Get 3 Free

So you can Buy 2, and Get 1 Free with the coupon.

So you can Buy 2 and Get 4 free.

I hope. I am not sure that the Pretzel M&M’s will be included, but they should if your store carries them.

Reply

Jonnie April 26, 2011 at 3:52 pm

Okay so the B2 in their sale doesn’t conflict with the B2 on the coupon. Then the remaining 4 is their 3 free and the coupon’s 1 free. Is that it?

Reply

Coupon Teacher April 26, 2011 at 3:53 pm

Yes, that is the way it would work at my store. Some other stores could do things a little differently. Hope you have a great shopping trip!!

Well the worst that could happen is they tell me no. And I won’t be able to bring home candy!! Oh no!! LOL

I may run up tomorrow. I have to weigh gas against savings, as well as draggin my 2yr old with me. The nearest HT to me is either New Bern, Morehead City or Wilmington, all are about an hour drive for me.
I’m planning on going up Saturday at the earliest. I would go up Sunday, but by time I get out of church, get my couponing done for the day, its time for Bible Study. But Monday and Tuesday I can go up.
Please let us know what deals you guys get.

We had a few things that were priced differently here in Raleigh. Sad not to get the Haagen Dazs for free. :( Our Lysol wipes were an even better deal, though, at $3.39 B1G1. I could have gotten four with two coupons for only $.78, but I was on auto pilot. I may go back to get two more with the third coupon I have. Also, our Pacific Foods Soup was $3.49. Oh, and I was able find $.55/1 peelies on the Blue Bunny Ice Cream, since our B1G1 deal was for all flavors. I love Blue Bunny!

The Pacific Natural Soup shows up as $2.49 for a can for me. Sorry.

Thanks for the other updates. Will be checking them and adding them!

I had a $2 ZVR for Scrubbing Bubbles and a $1.50 off 1 coupon from the Scrubbing Bubbles website from a week or so ago. The aresol cans were priced $3.89, so it was a money maker!

Reply

Coupon Teacher April 27, 2011 at 9:50 am

I don’t have the ZVR and didn’t snag the coupon either, but so GLAD you were able too. Great find!

Just got back from Harris Teeter.

Seventh Generation dish detergent on sale for $1.99
$1/1 coupons online
Double that and the dish detergent is free :)

Paid 10 cents in taxes for 2 (had 2 coupons)

Reply

Gina April 27, 2011 at 3:47 pm

So they took that coupon even though it said “Redeem at Giant?”

Reply

Eli April 27, 2011 at 9:36 pm

Gina, I one I used did not say “Redeem at Giant”. It was a manufacturer’s coupon.

Went to HT yesterday and today.
The one I went to yesterday was near work and for some reason didn’t double my 2- 1.50 – coupons. One Lysol, it only took off the 1.50 and not the extra .20 cents to make it free – and the other was on the Philadelphia Cream Cheese New product, only took 1.50 off – altho the coupon I had didn’t say it couldn’t be doubled (some do say it). Lastly, the 1.00 coupon on Deer Park Water, when you buy 2 – of the 1Liter bottles, didn’t double. The price was 1.19 per bottle, coupon required 2 for the 1.00 off — but the register gave me one free by basically taking off 1.00 and then .19. I am thinking I could have just bought one and got it free ~ who knew! (smile).
Today I only had one coupon beep – the Dove $1.00 off 3 reg. size bars. After she read it all the way thru, said it couldn’t be doubled. Everything else went thru without a hitch.
I did use 20 coupons each time. I paid about $23.19 — and got about $155.00 in total (that’s adding both days together).
Except for the mistake on day one — costing me $4.00 more than what I should have paid, and the 1.00 on the one they didn’t double (dove)… I still think I did an excellent job! I got 19 bags of Bird’s Eye Steamers during these 2 shops and that alone would have cost me $23.19 without the sale!

Note: Minute Rices (frozen) in store one were $2.50, in Store #2, they were $2.00.

Notes:
Maruchan Yakisoba were 3/2.oo at my HT – (bought 6) used (3) 1.00 off 2 — and they did turn out all free.
Fuze was out on the shelf, but stocked in the cold section by the produce/deli area.
8oz. Deans Dips were not on sale in the 2 stores I visited.

Hello Brittany, hope this helps:

Smart Balance Milk half gallon 2/$5 ($2.50 each)
Then use: (2)$1.50/1 Smart Balance Milks, any one carton – (SS 04/10/11)=
So each coupon will double to $3 so $2.50 – $3 = FREE :)
