I hope that you are still planning a debt free holiday. I know some of you are still looking for great gifts. Look no further than your stockpile. These can work for family members, co-workers, gift exchanges, or anyone. Just fit the basket to the person!
- Spices and/or cooking basket-I did this for my mom last year, at her request. I bought her a nice spice rack and filled it with lots of cheap and FREE spices. She is still using them.
- Spa basket-I know if you have a stockpile, you have plenty of great beauty products. Make up a “spa” basket around a person’s favorites or around a theme like a facial or pedicure.
- Foodie basket-I made hubby a “box-o-stuff” one year. It contained all of his favorite snacks, especially ones I wouldn’t usually buy for him. Although it probably wasn’t the most memorable gift ever, he ate every last bit.
- Movie basket-There have been some great deals on movies lately. Stick a couple of movies, boxes of popcorn, and bags of candy into a creative basket. This will be sure to please.
I just did this for a gift exchange at my last Christmas party. I had a really nice, large measuring cup. I took some (unopened) spices from my stockpile and filled the cup.
What other stockpile gift ideas do you have?
Remember, it doesn’t matter how much you spend, if you have a thoughtful gift that fits the person you are giving it to!
