I ventured out Saturday, because I needed to pick up a prescription. I did very well at Harris Teeter, but the trip went down hill from there.
At CVS, I thought I would be sneaky and go ahead to get the Crest Mouth Rinse (my stores start sales at 12 on Sat.). Well, she scanned my ECB card after my order, so things got confusing. Apparently, I bought the wrong size rinse, because no ECB printed. I spent all my ECB and $2.55 and got no ECB back. Needless to say, the rinses are in my car ready to return next time I go to town. This one was MY fault.
Harris Teeter
I got all this for under $8! The olive oil was $1.99 on my Vic email this week! A great uneventful trip!
Lowes Foods
Ok. This needs to be said. I have a love/hate relationship with Lowes Foods. It seems like every other time I go there either the cashier or the computer messes up. I spent $10.xx on the items pictured above (and I earned $3 FRC). A Catalina coupon printed out ($2.00), and I thought the cashier gave it to me. But when I got home and looked in the bags, no coupon. I get tired of the cashiers keeping my coupons. (It has happened at this store before!) Sorry for my rant….I am OK now.
Typing this all up helped me realize, it wasn’t that bad. I still got a few great deals, and the CVS thing can be fixed. How is that for the ups and downs of couponing?
